【今天吃什麼？】
因為疫情，出外與朋友嘆茶似乎成了遙不可及的事。這天與朋友跑去新世界酒樓午餐，本來就心情超靚，等我們要的點心全都上了桌，則更是開心又享受。我們兩國人，要了鳳爪，香煎韭菜果，叉燒和素腸粉，排骨，糯米雞和焗流沙包......
第一，因為沒有推車，全部事先點名的，點心上桌時都是冒著白煙，熱乎乎的比往常更是美味；第二，我們要的七樣點心，竟然每様都可以打高分數。特別是流沙包，一咬下去滿咀都是咸蛋香，又如韭菜煎蝦果，外皮香脆而內餡滋味，絕對可以打上九十分！可口的點心，配上香濃郁香的碧螺春。不打訛話，好嘆！（馮小茹）
Because of the epidemic, going out for tea time with friends seems to be out of reach. Today, I went to the Mekong Palace Dim Sum Restaurant for lunch with a friend. I was already in a very good mood to begin with, but when all the dim-sum we ordered arrived on the table, I was overflowed with joy. The two of us ordered chicken feet, pan-fried leek dumplings, barbecued pork, vegetarian rice rolls, pork ribs, glutinous rice with chicken and baked custard buns.
First, because there were no push carts, all the dim sums were ordered in advance. When the dim sum arrived, it turned the table white and steamy, and I can say the hot dishes are even more delicious than usual. Secondly, if I was to give points to the dishes, their score would all have been way up there. First let’s talk about for the custard buns, the bun was embodied with the fragrant salted egg flavor from the first bite. How about the pan-fried leek dumplings? The skin was so light and crispy while the filling was absolutely flavorful. I say both dishes are 9 out of 10! Delicious dim-sum accompanied by the fragrant Biluochun – my life is perfect.
